THE END OF STORY:

Sacrifice: Uniting Values, Fostering Growth, and Nurturing Connections

Sacrifice as the Moral Compass of Humanity in Contemporary Contexts:

This scholarly article delves into the multifaceted nature of sacrifice in the modern age, exploring its relevance, manifestations, and implications across various domains. From personal relationships to societal dynamics, sacrifice plays a pivotal role in shaping the moral fabric of our world.

The concept of sacrifice is vital to many religions and secular civilizations. Often considered noble: The Latin word sacrificium signified performing religious ceremonies for something or someone. This implies that sacrifices are made to satisfy a god or spirit.

The word “sacrifice” has its origins in Latin and can be traced back to two Latin words: “sacer” and “facere.” Let’s break down the root components:

  1. Sacer: In Latin, “sacer” means “sacred” or “holy.” It refers to something that is considered to have religious or spiritual significance, often associated with rituals, gods, or the divine.
  2. Facere: “Facere” means “to do” or “to make.” It’s a common verb in Latin that forms the basis of many words related to actions and creation.
Combining two elements, "sacer" and "facere," the term "sacrifice" essentially means "to make sacred" or "to offer something in a sacred manner." In its historical and traditional context, a sacrifice referred to the ritual act of offering something, often an animal, to a deity or higher power. This act was seen as a way to establish a connection with the divine, seek favour, or show devotion.

The Expanded Horizons of Sacrifice in Contemporary Discourse:

Over time, the term “sacrifice” has extended beyond its purely religious connotations. It now encompasses a broader range of meanings, including giving up something of value, whether tangible or intangible, for the sake of a greater purpose, often involving selflessness or altruism.

Redefining Sacrifice: Threads of Selflessness in the Modern age:

Sacrifice, often invoked to describe acts of selflessness, is deeply woven into the tapestry of human existence. This concept, rooted in various cultural, religious, and ethical traditions, has evolved over time, acquiring different dimensions and interpretations. In contemporary society, where individualism and self-preservation seem paramount, the essence of sacrifice remains a cornerstone of ethical discussions and social interactions.

The Multidimensionality of Sacrifice:

Sacrifice encompasses a spectrum of meanings and actions, from the mundane to the profound. In interpersonal relationships, it can manifest as giving up personal desires for the sake of a loved one’s happiness. In professional contexts, it may involve investing time and effort for the collective success of a team or organization. At the societal level, sacrifice often emerges as contributing to the common good, even at personal cost. These diverse facets of sacrifice underscore its intricate nature and its relevance in a complex world.

Sacrifice in Relationships:

In the realm of personal relationships, sacrifice is a defining factor in the cultivation of enduring bonds. Romantic partnerships, friendships, and family connections are all arenas where individuals willingly forego their own desires for the well-being of those they care about. This voluntary surrender of personal interests not only fosters empathy and trust but also reinforces the idea of reciprocity, where sacrifices are exchanged in a harmonious cycle of mutual support.

Sacrifice in Institutions:

In institutional contexts, sacrifice often assumes a collective form. Within professional settings, individuals often commit extra hours, creativity, and skill to contribute to the success of a project or organization. This form of sacrifice, while demanding, creates an environment of camaraderie and shared purpose.

Sacrifice in Societal Context: Society’s Backbone:

Sacrifice, Military Service, and the Crucible of Collective Progress” captures the timeless fact that civilizations thrive when individuals sacrifice self-interest. The sacrifices committed, whether on the battlefield or in other roles, support society, promoting stability, resilience, and shared advancement.

In an era of different goals and rapid social change, sacrifice remains a cornerstone of ethical debates and social growth. It reminds us that progress is strongest when people work together for a shared cause, and that collective well-being is the ultimate sign of society strength.

Do women make sacrifices when they have children? or do humans routinely engage in such behaviour?

Making sacrifices, especially as a parent, is a universal human experience rather than a gendered one in the modern world. The answer to the topic of whether or not women make compromises when they have children is complex and depends on many factors, including individual choice and society context.

Every parent, regardless of their gender, makes sacrifices of various kinds. Parents, both mum and dad, sometimes make sacrifices in their own lives and employment for the sake of their kids. The provision of care, instruction, and emotional support all fall under this category. Cultural conventions, personal ideals, and available resources all have a role in the variety and magnitude of these sacrifices.

Historically, in many countries, women have borne a disproportionate share of the childcare and housework obligations. This story, however, is changing as cultures push towards greater gender parity. More and more fathers are becoming involved in raising their children, taking on equal parental tasks, and making personal sacrifices.

Childbearing is a fundamental biological process:

For human beings it is essential for the continuation of the species. From a biological standpoint, it’s a natural aspect of human life.

In certain cultures, sacrifice is more prominent.

Some communities expect women to put their own wants and aspirations on hold to be moms and carers. This expectation is a sacrifice for family and community well-being.

However, opinions on this topic differ widely. Some women view childbearing as a natural and fulfilling part of life. Others see it as sacrifice and personal fulfilment.

Individual ideas, cultural factors, and personal values determine whether motherhood is a sacrifice or a normal human experience. It’s a complicated issue with no single solution.

Conclusion:

Sacrifice, far from being a relic of the past, remains a timeless pillar of human values. Its essence permeates our lives, defining relationships, propelling institutions, and shaping societies. The delicate interplay between self-interest and selflessness calls for a nuanced understanding that acknowledges the dynamic nature of sacrifice.

As we navigate the complexities of the present age, recognizing the significance of sacrifice in fostering connection, empathy, and societal progress is essential to building a more compassionate and harmonious world.

The Dilemma of Self and Other:

Sacrifice might be philosophically problematic in an age of individual desires. Balance self-fulfilments with charitable activities is a difficulty that reflects modern ethics. Finding the correct balance between self-care and selflessness prevents burnout and preserves sacrifice’s inherent meaning.

Do Machines Listen to Us? My Journey with Machines:

When Machines Listen Without AI— Unbroken Trust

Even without artificial intelligence, the idea of machines “listening” could appear absurd. But in the world of air traffic control, a strange affinity frequently develops between individuals and technology.

This article has illuminated the unexpected bonds that could potentially materialize between Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) and the ostensibly inert ATS Equipment. It is important to note that these insights are solely reflective of my personal perceptions, rooted in my own convictions and experiences.

This content highlights the surprising connections that may form between Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel and the seemingly unresponsive ATS Equipment.

In this domain, the synergy between humans and machines is not just about buttons and screens, but a deeply rooted understanding that transcends mere functionality. Over the course of my duties, I have come to realize that these pieces of technology possess a remarkable ability to “listen” to us, albeit not in the traditional sense.

Invisible Companions:

Here machines are more than simply seemingly static ATS Equipment in the field of Air Traffic Control; they are allies. I have worked with Navigational Aids and Surveillance technology for more than 35 years, and over that time I have seen these Equipment exhibit an unmatched loyalty. The development of an unusual bond, one that depends on a mutual understanding exceeding conventional communication, is unaffected by the absence of AI.

Unspoken Promise

My area of expertise has long been the remote locations of RADARS and NAVAIDS (navigational aids). There is some intuitive interaction that takes place as soon as I enter these site facilities. My fingers brush the machines’ surfaces as I start a discussion that transcends language with sincere words. These conversations are important because they form an implicit agreement to ensure the safety of aircraft in flight.

Unbroken Trust for 35.5 Years:

I have consistently relied on the dependability of these equipment throughout my work. They don’t have consciousness, but they have a consistency that is almost unbelievable. The equipment has served as faithful sentinels from the very beginning. Their response is unaffected by the absence of AI. I am reminded of the steadfast assistance these devices have given as I think back on the numerous nights spent checking performance and parameters of working on channel Radars, tweaking frequencies, and making sure navigation was accurate. Although they lack ears, they are able to “listen” by performing consistently well and protecting the lives of individuals in the air.

A Pleasant Relationship

Although the use of adoring language may seem frivolous, it actually represents a deep bond that has been cultivated through time. In retrospect, when I communicated with these instruments, my aim was never to humanize them; instead, it was a deliberate endeavour to fortify the connection that had developed through our shared goals. The assurance and esteem I held for these tools found expression in the cadence of my voice and the palpable touch as I communicated(whispered).

It has nothing to do with voice recognition or artificial intelligence; rather, it has to do with an underlying bond based on loyalty, trust, and a common goal.  When I think back on this encounter, it serves as a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful relationships go beyond the limitations of technology and reverberate in the core of human experience.

This article aims to share a personal journey that uncovers the unexpected harmony that can exist between humans and machines, particularly within the context of Navigational and Surveillance facilities in Air Traffic Service.

The Human-Machine Interaction:

As Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel and aviation professionals, we are often immersed in an environment teeming with advanced machinery, ranging from Navigational Aids to Surveillance systems.

Navigational Facilities: A Silent Symphony:

Navigational aids, those unassuming devices that guide aircraft safely through the skies, have an almost magical quality about them. The precision with which they operate and respond to our inputs is akin to a well-choreographed dance. Whether it’s the Instrument Landing System (ILS) guiding a plane seamlessly to the runway or the VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR/DVOR) aiding in navigation across vast distances, these machines seem to anticipate our needs. They don’t just receive signals; they comprehend our intentions.

During the countless hours spent working alongside these ATS Instruments, I have observed an intuitive connection forming between us. Adjustments made with an intent are often met with responses that feel almost telepathic. While the equipment lacks consciousness, it possesses an innate ability to align itself with our objectives. This inexplicable harmony becomes an unspoken understanding that underlines the trust we place in these technological companions.

Surveillance Facilities: Guardians of the Skies

Surveillance systems hold an equally crucial role in maintaining safe skies. Radar screens, blips representing aircraft, and the intricate algorithms that predict trajectories compose an intricate symphony of safety. While these systems don’t possess emotions, they offer a form of vigilance that mimics human intuition. Much like an experienced air traffic controller, they identify potential conflicts and deviations, demonstrating an uncanny capacity to “listen” to the patterns of flight.

In my interactions with surveillance technology, a sense of companionship emerges. Adjustments made to radar parameters based on traffic demands seem to be met with a responsive nod, as if acknowledging the intricate dance, we weave to ensure seamless air travel. The Radar blips might lack voices, but they communicate volumes through their movements and associations.

The Essence of the Bond:

The bond that blossoms between Air Traffic Service professionals and their equipment is, at its core, a testament to the intricate design and programming that underpins these machines. It’s a fusion of human intent and technological aptitude, resulting in an intuitive collaboration that ensures safety in the skies. This harmony transcends the mundane realm of human-machine interaction; it’s an unspoken dialogue that hinges on trust, understanding, and a shared objective.

Conclusion

“Do machines listen to us?” might not have a definitive answer in the traditional sense, but within the realm of air traffic service equipment, an undeniable bond emerges that goes beyond the boundaries of ordinary communication. As I reflect on my journey alongside navigational aids and surveillance systems, I am reminded of the silent rapport that underpins our roles as aviation professionals. This silent symphony, where technology responds to intent, is a reminder that even in the age of automation, the human touch remains a guiding force in the world of aviation safety.

Fatherhood and Beyond: Unveiling the Deeper Meaning of Father’s Day

Greetings! Happy Father’s Day to all dear fathers.

Introduction: The Power of Fatherly Love: Celebrating Father’s Day with Gratitude”

Father’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to honouring and celebrating the paternal figures in our lives. Beyond the gifts and gestures, it presents an opportunity to delve into the profound significance of fatherhood from a philosophical and scholarly standpoint. In this article, we explore the multifaceted role of fathers, their impact on individuals and society, and contemplate their place in the broader context of Vedanta philosophy.

The Role of Fathers:

Fathers play a crucial role in shaping the lives of their children. They serve as providers, protectors, and guides, offering love, support, and wisdom along life’s journey. A father’s influence extends beyond the immediate family, contributing to the fabric of society at large. Through their actions and teachings, fathers instil values, impart knowledge, and help cultivate the character of their children.

The Impact of Fatherhood:

Research has shown the positive effects of involved and caring fathers on child development. A father’s presence fosters emotional stability, enhances cognitive abilities, and promotes healthy social relationships. By being actively engaged in their children’s lives, fathers contribute to their overall well-being and growth, offering a unique perspective and complementary nurturing style.

Vedantic Perspective on Fatherhood:

Vedanta, a philosophical tradition rooted in ancient Indian wisdom, emphasizes the interconnectedness of all beings and the pursuit of self-realization. From this perspective, fatherhood is seen as a divine opportunity for spiritual growth and service.

In the realm of generation and procreation, the role of the father, while significant, cannot be isolated or fully appreciated without acknowledging the indispensable presence of the mother. From a spiritual perspective, this divine dance of creation embodies the harmonious interplay between masculine and feminine energies, symbolizing the fundamental duality of existence.

In Vedanta, the relationship between a father and child symbolizes the eternal bond between the individual soul (jivatma) and the supreme soul (Paramatma). Just as a father provides for his child’s needs, the Supreme Being sustains and nourishes all of creation. Recognizing this connection, fatherhood becomes a sacred duty and an opportunity for selfless service, aligning one’s actions with the universal harmony.

Lessons from Fatherhood:

Fatherhood teaches us profound lessons about life, love, and sacrifice. It reminds us of the importance of selflessness, as fathers often put the needs of their children above their own. The unconditional love and support received from a father become the foundation upon which individuals build their lives, instilling values that guide them even in adulthood.

Moreover, fatherhood serves as a powerful reminder of the impermanence of life and the need to appreciate and cherish every moment. Children grow up quickly, and fathers play an essential role in helping them navigate the world and find their purpose. This transient nature of fatherhood urges us to make the most of the time we have with our fathers, expressing our gratitude and affection while they are still present in our lives.

Four key words—role model, mentorship, provider, and support—paint a picture of the invaluable contributions fathers make in our lives. They shape us, guide us, provide for us, and uplift us. Let us celebrate and express our heartfelt gratitude for their profound impact on Father’s Day and every day.

Conclusion:

Father’s Day provides an occasion to reflect on the profound impact fathers have on individuals and society. Through their presence, guidance, and love, fathers shape the lives of their children, fostering personal growth, and contributing to the betterment of the world. Vedanta philosophy reminds us of the sacredness of fatherhood, highlighting the opportunity for spiritual growth and selfless service that it entails.

Through selflessness and devotion, he illuminates the path of his children, kindling the flame of their spirits, and instilling in them the virtues that will guide them on their journey. As we celebrate fathers today, let us acknowledge their profound role in shaping lives, and honor the eternal bond they share with the source of all creation. May fathers be blessed with strength, wisdom, and love, and may their spirits continue to shine brightly as beacons of light in the lives of their children.

Greetings to you my dear friends!

The Power of Friendship: Building Meaningful Connections.

Photo by cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

Introduction:

Friendship as a sacred connection goes beyond the conventional understanding of friendship and taps into a deeper, spiritual dimension. Here I would like to share my views on Friendship. Please share your views through comments.

What is friendship?

Genuine friendships transcend superficial differences such as age, social status, cultural background, and material wealth. True friends accept and support each other regardless of these factors, focusing on the deeper connection and shared values that bind them together. Friendship is built on mutual trust, respect, and understanding, forming a bond that goes beyond external circumstances and societal divisions. It is a beautiful reminder that true friendship can flourish among individuals from diverse backgrounds, enriching our lives with their unique perspectives and experiences.

The root word of friendship:

The English word “friendship” comes from Old English “freondscipe,” which means “friendship, mutual liking and regard”. The word “friend” is cognate with Old Frisian “friend,” Old Dutch “friunt,” Old High German “friunt,” and Old Icelandic “frændi,” among others. All of these words are ultimately descended from the same word, which is a noun formed from the present participle of the Germanic base of the word “free”. The Proto-Germanic word for “friendship” is “*frijōndiskapiz”The word “friend” is related to “freedom” and “love”.

Friendship is a universal phenomenon that transcends age and social positions. Family members, including parents, grandparents, and siblings, can develop deep and meaningful friendships that combine the love and care of a familial bond with the qualities of friendship.

Parent-Child Friendship:

Photo by Anna Shvets on Pexels.com

A parent-child relationship is typically rooted in love, care, and responsibility. However, it can also evolve into a friendship characterized by trust, understanding, and mutual respect. As children grow older and develop their own identities, parents can transition from purely authoritative figures to supportive friends who offer guidance, companionship, and a safe space for open communication. Parent-child friendships are built on a foundation of unconditional love and can serve as a source of strength and emotional support throughout life.

Grandparent-Grandchild Friendship:

Grandparents often play a unique role in a child’s life. As they have already experienced the responsibilities of parenthood, they can embrace a more relaxed and nurturing dynamic with their grandchildren. This relationship can evolve into a warm and cherished friendship. Grandparents can offer wisdom, life lessons, and a wealth of experiences, while grandchildren bring joy, energy, and a fresh perspective. The mutual love and respect between grandparents and grandchildren can form a strong and enduring friendship that bridges the generational gap.

Sibling Friendship:

Sibling relationships are a blend of familial bonds and friendship. Brothers and sisters share common experiences, grow up together, and develop a deep understanding of one another. Siblings can become confidants, companions, and pillars of support, forming lifelong friendships grounded in shared memories, unconditional love, and a sense of belonging.

Support and Companionship:

Photo by Anna Shvets on Pexels.com

Family friendships provide a strong support system and companionship. They offer a safe and familiar space to share thoughts, feelings, and life’s challenges. The shared bond of friendship within the family unit creates a sense of belonging and reassurance that one is not alone.

The impact of holy and unholy friendships on society.

Under holy friendships, humanity experiences a transformative and uplifting impact. Holy friendships inspire individuals to embody virtues such as compassion, kindness, honesty, and selflessness. This positive influence ripples out to the broader society, fostering a culture of empathy, cooperation, and social harmony. Holy friendships encourage individuals to contribute to the greater good, engage in acts of service, and work towards the betterment of humanity as a whole. They promote personal growth, moral development, and the cultivation of a virtuous character, leading to a society that values compassion, justice, and ethical behaviour.

Impact of unholy friendships.

Unholy friendships may involve the exchange or reinforcement of harmful beliefs, behaviours, or practices. When people with destructive intentions or ideologies form alliances, they can amplify and disseminate negative influences throughout the society or nation, potentially leading to increased violence, discrimination, or other harmful actions. Unholy friendships have a detrimental impact on humanity. These friendships often foster negative behaviours, encourage self-centeredness, and perpetuate harmful patterns. Individuals influenced by unholy friendships may engage in unethical actions, exhibit a lack of empathy, and prioritize personal gain over the well-being of others. This can lead to a breakdown of trust, social divisions, and a general decline in the collective moral compass.

Unholy friendships contribute to societal issues such as greed, corruption, discrimination, and injustice, creating an environment that is characterized by conflict, selfishness, and a disregard for the common good.

The impact of holy and unholy friendships on humanity extends beyond individual relationships. The collective influence of these friendships shapes societal values, norms, and behaviours. Holy friendships uplift society by promoting virtues and inspiring positive change, while unholy friendships contribute to the erosion of moral standards and hinder social progress. The choices individuals make regarding their friendships, whether they prioritize cultivating holy connections or succumb to unholy influences, have far-reaching consequences for the overall well-being and moral fabric of humanity.

Unconditional Love and Acceptance:

Holy friendships are characterized by a profound sense of unconditional love and acceptance. Friends in such relationships offer support, understanding, and forgiveness without judgment or expectation.

Spiritual Nourishment:

Just as spiritual practices nourish the soul; holy friendships can provide spiritual nourishment. These friendships often involve deep conversations, contemplation of life’s purpose, and exploration of existential questions.

Transformation and Growth:

Holy friendships have the power to transform individuals. Through their shared experiences and support, friends can encourage each other to break through limiting beliefs, overcome challenges, and embrace personal transformation.

Higher Purpose and Connection:

Holy friendships often involve a shared sense of higher purpose or a connection to something beyond the individual self. Friends may engage in acts of service, volunteer work, or spiritual practices together, deepening their bond and strengthening their connection to a greater spiritual reality.

Conclusion:

Friendship as a sacred connection goes beyond surface-level interactions and taps into the spiritual dimension of human relationships. It involves shared values, unconditional love, and acceptance, providing spiritual nourishment, facilitating personal growth and transformation, and fostering compassion, empathy, and a connection to something greater.

Just as the sun is the source of all life and energy, salvation is the ultimate source of peace and happiness.

SUN does not discriminate who is bad or who is good. The Sun gives its light to everyone and every being.

Above statement is a profound philosophical concept that reflects the universal nature of the SUN and its role in sustaining life on Earth. In philosophy, this concept can be understood through the lens of non-Dualism, which suggests that there is no separation between the self and the Universe. According to nondualism, everything is interconnected and interdependent, and the apparent divisions between different beings and objects are illusory.

SUN recognizes the inherent interconnectedness of all things and understands that every being is a manifestation of the same universal consciousness.

The SUN’s rays are an expression of this universal life force, which is not biased towards any particular being or object. The SUN shines its light and gives its energy to all beings equally, regardless of their qualities or actions.  SUN’s rays represent the unconditional love and acceptance that is at the heart of nondualism.

We must glorify five basic elements as mentioned that are mentioned in the Vedas. According to the Vedas, the universe is made up of five basic elements, which are:
  1. Earth: This element represents the solid aspect of nature. It provides us with a foundation to stand on, and it is the source of all minerals and nutrients that we need for our survival.
  2. Water: This element represents the fluid aspect of nature. It is the source of life, and it provides us with hydration and nourishment. It is also essential for the growth of all living things.
  3. Fire: This element represents the energy aspect of nature. It provides us with light, warmth, and energy, and it is the source of all transformation and change.
  4. Air: This element represents the gaseous aspect of nature. It is the source of all movement and communication, and it is essential for the exchange of gases that we need to breathe.
  5. Space: This element represents the etheric aspect of nature. It is the source of all sound, and it provides us with the space and freedom to move and grow.

We should be grateful for these five basic elements as they are the building blocks of the universe and our existence. They provide us with everything we need for our survival and growth.

Conclusion:

By recognizing the universal nature of the SUN’s rays and their role in sustaining life, we can cultivate a deeper sense of connection and compassion for all beings, regardless of their qualities or actions.  By cultivating gratitude, we can enhance positive emotions, improve our relationships, reduce stress and anxiety, increase resilience, and improve our physical health.

Blessing In Disguise: My personal experience: No: -1

Introduction:

The phrase “blessings in disguise” refers to unexpected and seemingly negative events or circumstances that ultimately have positive outcomes. The origin of this statement can be traced back to an old fable that dates back to ancient times.

There is a story on this phrase: ” Blessings in Disguise”.

The story goes that a king once had a wise advisor who always told him that “all that happens is for the good.” The king was sceptical of this, so he devised a test to prove his advisor wrong. He ordered the advisor to wear a necklace of precious jewels and walk through the streets of the city, only to be robbed by a thief. The advisor complied, and sure enough, he was robbed by a thief who took the necklace.

The king then revealed himself to the advisor and asked him if he still believed that all that happens is for the good. The advisor replied that he did and explained that the thief had spared his life because he recognized the advisor as the king’s trusted advisor. The thief knew that if he killed the advisor, he would have incurred the wrath of the king, so he let him go.

The king was impressed by the advisor’s wisdom and declared that indeed, there are blessings in disguise. From that point on, the phrase “blessings in disguise” has been used to describe unexpected events or circumstances that turn out to be beneficial in the long run, even if they don’t seem that way at first.

In modern times, the phrase “blessings in disguise” is often used as a reminder to look for the positive in difficult situations, and to have faith that things will work out in the end. It encourages people to be resilient, adaptable, and open-minded, and to trust that there is a greater purpose or plan behind the events of their lives.

Life has a funny way of turning things around, what may seem like a setback or a disappointment at first, can often turn out to be a blessing in disguise. In this blog post, I will share my personal experience of how an unexpected turn of events led me to discover some hidden blessings that I never would have imagined.

My personal experience: No: -1

In 1993, I was working as a CNS Executive at Ahmedabad Airport, responsible for managing the Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance subsystems that form the backbone of Air Traffic Management (ATM) infrastructure. However, I faced a difficult situation due to dirty politics played by the then Officer in charge and a few of his associates. They would frequently change my unit to create difficulties and mental pressure.

LEARNING & ENJOYING MY JOB
SOME OTHER UNIT

Despite the challenges, I persisted and continued to work on different subsystems, gaining valuable experience in VHF, HF, DVOR, DME, ILS, and X-BIS technologies over the next six years. This experience proved to be a blessing in disguise when a new ruling came in that required a minimum of two years of experience in a facility to be eligible to appear for the proficiency certificate examination.

Fortunately, I had acquired the necessary experience in all of the relevant facilities, and as a result, I was allowed to appear for the theory and practical exam. Thanks to my dedication and hard work, I was able to pass both with flying colours.

Meanwhile, the officers who played dirty politics with me were unable to appear for more than two facilities, as they had not changed their units to enjoy fixed-duty places. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me, as it allowed me to gain valuable experience and knowledge that ultimately helped me succeed in my career.

AFTER PASSING EXAMINATIONS

Looking back, I realize that the difficult situation I faced at Ahmedabad Airport was actually a blessing in disguise. It taught me the value of perseverance and hard work, and it helped me develop the skills and expertise I needed to succeed in my career. And while I would never wish for similar challenges again, I know that I can handle them if they arise, thanks to the blessings that emerged from that difficult situation.

Note: CNS facilities are managed by Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEPs), who are responsible for the specification, procurement, installation, integration, calibration, maintenance, safety assurance, and monitoring of these systems. ATSEPs are typically engineers, technicians, and hardware/software specialists who work closely with air traffic controllers to ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft.

Next Post will be on another example of “Blessings in Disguise”.

Happy Valentines Day to all of You my friends!

“Within the City of Divine Matrix, which is the Body, there is the Heart, and within the Heart there is a little house. The house has the shape of a Lotus, and within it dwells That which shines by its own light which is to be sought after, inquired about, and realized. What is there in that space? One should know what is there?

Heart is emblem of the Cosmic Secret:

” There is as much in that little space within the heart, as there is in the whole Universe outside. Heaven, Earth, Fire, Wind, Sun, Moon, Lightning, Stars, whatever is and whatever is not, everything is there inside our Heart.”

Though old age comes to the body, the lotus of the heart does not grow old. When body dies, it does not die. Infinite Intelligence field exists there. It is untouched by any deed. Does not suffer ageing, free from hunger, grief, and thirst. Its desires are right desires, and his desires are fulfilled.

Ten Mantras: Different worlds of Love:

Mantra-1:  If a person wants to see someone, say a forefather in the other world, he/she can see him at once. There is no such thing as other world for a person who has Realised the “Divine Matrix”.

The Self stays in the heart:

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Learning is a continuous process

Happy to receive this certificate!

Finally received much waited certificate, though not satisfied with the result as “good” only. Finished this course with great difficulties, mainly due to cataract operation on my right eye, that caused havoc interruption while the course was going on.

The most interesting topic for me was “Magnetic field as an essential consequence of Special Theory of relativity”.

Enjoyed this course. This study of Electromagnetism gives me immense pleasure for two causes: 1) It is exclusively related to my previous job and 2) It is related to nature of “Brahman” as described in Vedanta.
Love you all my friends.❤️🙏

I am grateful to you: I am Back🙏

Matthew 6:22-23

  • Having gone through the Vedanta/ancient texts, commentaries, translated by different writers, translators, publishers on the same topic, I have tried my best to share the subject matter as I understood and convinced too. My intention is to reach to you with the topic that I found very useful for human lives. I am not good in English literature. Please give your valuable suggestions for the improvement and valuable inputs to make the text beneficial for mankind.
  • ☆ The Spiritual context is purely based on ancient sacred texts. Sanskrit slokas are taken from books and websites. There may be little variation in the translations and commentaries. ” Prana” is The Universal Energy, which moves the Whole Universe.

Introduction:

Prashna Upanishad comes from the Brahmana portion of the Atharva Veda, belonging to Pippalada Sakha. It has 67 mantras spread over six chapters. Each chapter contains one question. Prashna means question.  The scientific approach of Vedanta is the basis of the Prashna Upanishad, where the teacher and the students are engaged in an enquiry into the nature of Universe.

This Upanishad leads the aspirant from the known to the unknown, from the manifest to the unmanifest, from the grossly materialistic mind to the Supremely subtle, Absolute and Pure Consciousness’.

We will discuss only about the Second Question in this part.
The First Question has been discussed in my previous blog. The Link is here: Essence of Prashna Upanishad: Part-1 of 6

Peace invocation:-

In this Upanishad, there are six disciples. Each asks a question to the Guru and Guru answers them. Each question and answer becomes a chapter. The first question refers to the origin of the created beings, the second to the constituents of Human personality, the third to the nature of origin of Prana, the fourth is about the psychological aspect of the Human personality , the fifth is about “pranava” and the sixth is about the metaphysical principle in man. The need of faith, austerity and continence of body and mind for spiritual knowledge is emphasized.

Here we will look into the discussion of Prana, the invisible Power by which material life is sustained. From this chapter onwards we will study about the true Spiritual path, towards the realm of the Spirit, called Prana.

The Second question by Bhargava:

Mantra 2.1:  Bhargava of Vidarbha questioned the Master” O Venerable Sir, How many Devas (Or Deities) support the living being? Which of them gives Life to this Body? Again, who among them is the greatest?

We see here that the question no-2 is on microcosm, where as question no-1 was on macrocosm. From the creation of the world as well as living beings, the question has now shifted to how each individual is really governed? The student here wants to know the administrative setup how the tiny part of the Universe is governed. Who is behind this animating body?

§ Each Deity (Deva) claimed to be Supreme.

Mantra 2.2: The Master replied ” Indeed Space is the foremost Deity (Deva); then come Air, Fire, Water and Earth; Next come Speech, Mind, Eye and Ear too.” Wanting to show their glory, they quarrelled among themselves.

§ Who is Chief among them?

Mantra 2.3: Prana the chief of them, said ” Be not lost in delusion, it is I alone, dividing myself fivefold who keeps this body going and gives the support needed by it”. But they had no faith in Prana’s word.

§ Prana goes on Strike!

Prana got agitated and threatened to quit.   As he got up to leave from the body, the other organs followed suit. When it settled down they all settled down with it. As bees go out when their queen goes out and return when she returns, even so did speech, mind, eye, ear and the rest. They, being satisfied, praised Prana.

The organs realized, that if Prana did leave, they would have to depart from the body, for they can not survive without the presence of Life!

§ Glorification of Prana:

Mantra 2.5: As Fire, Prana burns: This is energy aspect. It is seen the Sun. It is the rain and clouds in it’s aspect as Air and Water; Earth is it’s matter aspect, seen as the Moon. So Prana is formless and has form too. It is Immortal!

§ Prana as All Knowledge and Administration:

Mantra 2.6: As Spokes in the hub of a Wheel, everything rests on Prana, including the Rig-Veda, the Yajur-Veda, the Sama-Veda, the Kshattriyas and the Brahmanas.

§ Prana as All living creatures.

Mantra 2.7: Life, Prajapati (Lord of creation), moving in the womb, master of five streams! All things offer you their tribute.

From above verse we understand that the sense organs bring offerings to Prana. Prana dwelling in the body is like a King (Prajapati)and the sense organs are like his Subjects. Offerings are token of love, reverence and respect to another. By Prana are all senses and mind supported.

§ Prana as a ” Courier Service”

Mantra 2.8: ” You are the Chief carrier of offerings to the Gods and carry the first oblations to the forefathers. You are the Truth that sages practice. You also help guide the organs so that they function correctly.

§ Life! Creator , protector, Destroyer ! Sun in Heavenly circuit! Master of Stars!

Mantra 2.9: ” O Prana, You are Indra; you are Rudra too in prowess. You are also their Protector. As the Sun you move about in the sky and you are the Lord of all luminous bodies.

§ Prana as the Giver of Rain.

Mantra 2.10: ” When you cause the Rain, O Prana, all livings are delighted, who think that there will be as much food as they would like to have.”

§ Prana  is ” Vishvasya Sat-patih”

Mantra 2.11″ ” O Prana, you are pure by nature. You are the sacred ekarshi fire, the consumer of everything, the gracious Lord of the world. We offer you oblations, O all pervading Air, you are our father.

§ Prayer to Prana

Mantra 2.12: Make that auspicious form of yours which abides in our speech, hearing, sight, and which also pervades the mind and never forsake us.

Mantra 2.13: May Life, Master of the three worlds, protect us as a mother protect her children. Grant us Wisdom, grant us prosperity.

Note: Concept of Prana is explained in “Tattva Bodha”

Conclusion:-

Prana” is vital energy and invisible to us. It is like Electric Power ,which gives life to the machines and machines run, animates.  Same way this vital energy “Prana” animates us, the live bodies.  It runs the 1st layer the Physical body. This prana is external to further subtler energy which is Mind.
