My Journey Through Books—A Path to Transformation
Introduction:
This is my journey through books—a deeply personal exploration of the works that have shaped my understanding of spirituality, science, and life itself.
What began in December 2016 was not random—it felt specific, even predetermined, especially from the perspective of my spiritual path. Today, as I write this updated reflection in 2025, I have published 229 blogs on Vedanta, the Upanishads, and related spiritual themes. Over these years, my inner growth has been as steady as my writing, with each book adding a new layer of insight and clarity.

Professional Success, Personal Restlessness
Back in mid-2016, certain unexpected events left me deeply unsettled on a personal level, even though my professional life was thriving. I had recently been promoted to Deputy General Manager (CNS) at Ahmedabad Airport, with independent charge of the Aerodrome Operation Control Center (AOCC), the Automatic Switching System, various inter- and intra-airport communication systems, and surveillance technologies like primary radar, secondary radar, and ADS-B. Alongside these technical responsibilities, I was also training others—a role I enjoyed. My work required precision, focus, and constant readiness, and I carried it out with enthusiasm. Yet, beneath the surface, a quiet unhappiness persisted, one that no professional success could resolve.
The Book That Changed My Direction
At a certain point, a simple but powerful thought crossed my mind: “Who will cry when I die?” Within a day or two, as if by destiny, I came across the book Who Will Cry When You Die? by Robin Sharma in the airport bookstore. I made up my mind to buy it soon, but work pressures kept me from returning. My role at the airport was demanding, and finding time even to browse another bookstore felt impossible. Back then, buying books online never crossed my mind.
A few weeks later, while visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Bangalore, I searched for the book in several local stores, including Cross Word, but it was out of stock everywhere. My daughter suggested something I hadn’t considered—ordering it online from Amazon or Flipkart. I followed her advice, and soon, the book was finally in my hands.
That moment marked a quiet turning point in my life. From then on, books became my mentors, my silent companions, and my lifeline—pulling me back from the brink of depression and helping me rediscover a sense of purpose.
Finally, books became my mentor and saved me from going into depression and getting lost.

-
The first book that came to mind was: Who will cry when you die? By Robin Sharma.

The Second book: The Monk Who sold his Ferrari: By Robin Sharma
-
The Third book: The Power of your Subconscious Mind: By Joseph Murphy
The above-mentioned three books changed my life in a new direction, and thereby, a new journey started in my life. These three books, along with others, worked as saviours in my life. These three books were the pioneers in building an interest in the fields of Vedanta and modern science [quantum physics and quantum biology]. I will share everything with you, my dear readers. What magical events happened in my life, which I will share in the next part,. In this part, I have listed a few books that initially helped me.
