Adorned in exquisite sarees and shimmering ornaments, our family members were a spectacle of elegance and tradition. The allure of Indian attire against the backdrop of European landscapes was truly a sight to behold.
Our journey had been more than just a tour; it was a symphony of experiences. Our fellow travellers, under the vivacious Mr. Santanu Ghosh, owner of BonVoyage Travel Club, kept the mood upbeat and joyful throughout the lengthy hours on the road. Mr. Ghosh, a talented singer, organized impromptu performances of music, humour, and recitation to build a traveling community based on shared appreciation and enjoyment. Each bus ride became a memorable event, filled with songs, laughter, and heartfelt moments that added a unique flavour to our travels.

Day 12: Rendezvous at Venice Gondola

We began our day with a hearty breakfast, checked out of our hotel, and set off towards Venice, Italy. Known as the City of Beautiful Monuments and Serpentine Canals, Venice has inspired poetry and passion through the ages.

We also witnessed the famed Bell Tower and Clock Tower, which features the dominant signs of the Zodiac and the current phase of the moon. The Bridge of Sighs, made of white limestone and arching over the Rio di Palazzo, captured our imagination as it connected the old prisons with the interrogation rooms at the Doge’s Palace.
