Our day began with an invigorating breakfast, fuelling us for the enchanting alpine excursion that awaited us: a visit to Jungfraujoch, the illustrious “Top of Europe.”
Interlaken
Our first stop was the charming town of Interlaken, where we were delighted by the statue of Bollywood film director Yash Chopra, a nod to the many Bollywood films shot in this picturesque locale.

The Casino Kursaal added a touch of elegance and excitement to our visit, while the breathtaking views of the skydiving valley left us in awe of the scenic beauty surrounding us.

As we ascended, the landscape transformed into a world of eternal ice and snow, where the air was crisp, and the vistas were nothing short of magical.

At Jungfraujoch, we explored the Ice Palace, marvelling at the intricate sculptures carved from ice. The Sphinx Observatory Deck provided a breathtaking panoramic view of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps, stretching out in a spectacular display of nature’s grandeur. This high-altitude adventure was a highlight of our Swiss journey, leaving us with unforgettable memories of the serene and majestic beauty of the Swiss Alps.
As the day drew to a close, we descended from the icy heights and returned to the warmth of civilization. We enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant, savoring familiar flavors in an extraordinary setting. Luzern/ Lucerne
Lucerne is best-known for the wooden bridge spanning the river to connect the city. The most famous and world’s oldest one is the Chapel Bridge, dating back to the 14th century. This pedestrians bridge is decorated with pictures representing Lucerne’s history.

The serene beauty of Lake Luzern captivated us, its tranquil waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. We wandered through Rosengartplatz, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and charming architecture, and indulged in some delightful shopping, exploring local boutiques and Swiss treasures.

The Majestic Journey to Engelberg and Mount Titlis
In the afternoon, our adventure in Switzerland continued as we embarked on our journey to Engelberg, the gateway to Mount Titlis. The scenic drive through the Swiss countryside was a feast for the eyes, with rolling hills, lush meadows, and quaint villages dotting the landscape. Upon reaching Engelberg, the village’s alpine charm and serene ambiance set the perfect stage for the next leg of our adventure.
From Engelberg, we began our ascent to the summit of Mount Titlis, standing majestically at 3,020 meters. Our journey involved a series of cable car rides, each offering its own unique perspective of the alpine wonderland. The first cable car took us through verdant forests and past picturesque alpine meadows, gradually revealing the snow-capped peaks above.

The highlight of our ascent was the Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car. As it slowly rotated, we were treated to an awe-inspiring 360-degree panorama of the surrounding peaks, deep crevasses, and pristine white snow fields. The sheer beauty of the landscape, with its dazzling peaks and vast expanses of untouched snow, was absolutely breathtaking.
