What bothers you and why?

With age, I have understood that only possessiveness has bothered me much. Whether it is my name, fame, my relationship, my wealth, and my worldly belongings.

Possessiveness bothers me mostly. Because this is fundamentally a fear of loss.

Finally when I got a blow from one of my possessions, my eyes opened. I have mentioned that through my posts: “My journey through books.”

As such now, I am in the path of practicing “Renunciation”. Not very easy. Also not very difficult, once you have higher knowledge of your own Identity. Real Identity.

The Consequences of Possessiveness:

Jealousy: Possessiveness often involves the fear of losing what we have or not getting what we want.

Attachment: Possessiveness creates a strong attachment to things or people that we perceive as ours. This attachment can lead to dependence, obsession, and emotional pain when we are separated or threatened by them.  This happens mostly in Relationship possessiveness.

Conflict: Possessiveness can lead to conflicts with others who have different or conflicting interests, beliefs, or values.

Therefore, I am of the opinion, that possessiveness is a great cause of bothering.

  1. Sir, I concur but it’s hard not to feel intimidated or have such negative thoughts. Perhaps identifying these feelings are good to measure our self growth. Admittance is first step towards maturity which you already on the path. Regards and be safe 🙏

  3. Excellent wording.
Ownership is scary not only because of dependence on material goods, but also because of the desire for spiritual possession and excessive attachment to any worldview values, for example, family, professional, etc.
It happens that excessive attachment to family values just deprives a person of a family, and fate strikes him in this very place from time to time. This is a lesson that is being taught to him, which he needs to pass correctly in order to finally find just such family ties that do not dissolve his own personality in them, but help her to open up to the fullest.
This is a difficult test – to get rid of excessive attachments.
I wish you success on this path!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words and good wishes. When people are running behind materials and relationships to keep them intact in possession and even to acquire more, there is a chance of losing a few or everything.
This world or Universe is sustained on the basis of many probabilities. Mathematics of probability is playing every moment.
Keeping that outcome of events as blissful every time will take away all sufferings. I believe that.
      Thank you so much 🙏
      My name is Arun
      I am from India.
      What is your name please.
Nice to be connected in this world 😄
      Best regards 🙏

      1. Agree. The pursuit of various goods has not yet made anyone happier. Unfortunately, sometimes you realize this only when you have already acquired these benefits and lost a lot in the pursuit of them.
Nice to meet you, Arun. My name is Olga. I live in Moscow, Russia. I have several friends from India. The history of your country is infinitely deep and wide. When communicating, we greatly enrich each other with new knowledge and cultural traditions, original teachings and peculiarities of geography.
We’ll be in touch. It is very interesting to discuss all kinds of issues of our worldview and being with you. 🌐🕊🗺

  4. Thank you so much Olga 😊
Very beautiful name. You are from Moscow.
Very happy to meet you here.
I have gained and I have lost. For which I almost ruined 7 years of my life from the age of 19 to the age of 26, I achieved my wish, my desire, but finally I found that I have run after a …..? I don’t know the exact word for that.

Wish you a beautiful time ahead 😊
