Introduction: Origin of our Universe
Cosmology seeks to answer some of the most fundamental questions about the origin of the universe, its structure, and its evolution. Among the many theories that attempt to explain the universe’s beginnings, the Big Bang Theory stands as the most widely accepted scientific model. Researchers also explore alternative explanations, such as the Holographic Theory, which suggests that reality emerges from information encoded on a cosmic boundary. These concepts not only shape our understanding of cosmology but also challenge our perceptions of space, time, and existence itself.
I am writing a book on cosmology, where we will embark on a fascinating journey to explore the universe and some of the biggest questions that have intrigued scientists for generations. From the mysteries of the Big Bang and the expansion of the universe to the enigma of dark matter and dark energy, we’ll uncover the wonders of the cosmos.
This book will also delve into the birth and death of stars and galaxies, the quest for extraterrestrial life, and the future of cosmological discoveries. But first, let’s start with the basics: What is cosmology?
At first glance, the term may seem complex, but don’t worry! You don’t need a degree in physics or astronomy to grasp its fundamental concepts. Cosmology is simply the study of the universe as a whole—its origins, evolution, and structure.
As you progress through this book, these ideas will become more accessible and engaging. So sit back, relax, and get ready to explore the awe-inspiring mysteries of the cosmos!
Beauty of Cosmos:

Have you ever gazed at the night sky in wonder? Do you find yourself questioning the origins of the universe and the forces that shape our reality? If so, you’re not alone. These are age-old questions that have captivated scientists and thinkers for centuries.
The beauty of the cosmos lies in its vastness, complexity, and elegance. From subatomic particles to colossal galaxies, the universe is a masterpiece that fuels both imagination and curiosity.
One of the most breathtaking aspects of the cosmos is its sheer size and scale. The universe hosts billions of galaxies, each filled with billions of stars, planets, and celestial objects. This immensity reminds us of our tiny yet significant place in the grand scheme of things.
Another captivating aspect is the harmony of fundamental laws governing the universe. From gravity and thermodynamics to relativity and quantum mechanics, these principles shape everything around us. They also reveal a profound interconnectedness within the cosmos—one that inspires awe and deep contemplation.

Universal Connectedness:
The concept of universal connectedness suggests that everything in the universe is interwoven—a vast network where all events, thoughts, and actions ripple across existence. This idea has been explored in spiritual, philosophical, and scientific traditions throughout history.
In some spiritual traditions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, this principle is known as interdependent origination, meaning everything arises in relation to something else. From the tiniest atom to the grandest galaxy, all things are bound by a deep, underlying unity.
Scientific View of Universal Connectedness
Modern science echoes this idea through quantum physics. The phenomenon of quantum entanglement suggests that particles can remain linked, even across vast distances, affecting each other instantaneously. This groundbreaking concept challenges our understanding of time, space, and reality itself.
Our first chapter will be on ‘The Origin of our Universe”.

Origin of our Universe:
For centuries, humanity has pondered the origins of the universe. While cultures and religions have their own creation stories, modern cosmology offers scientific theories that attempt to explain how everything began.
In this section, we’ll explore six major theories that provide different perspectives on the creation of the universe:
- The Big Bang Theory
- The Steady State Theory
- The Inflationary Theory
- The Ekpyrotic Theory
- The Cyclic Model
- String Theory (M-Theory)
Additionally, two other fascinating theories have gained attention:
- Simulation Theory
- Holographic Theory
The Simulation Theory
The simulation theory suggests that our universe is a computer-generated simulation created by an advanced civilization. According to this hypothesis, everything we experience—including our thoughts and consciousness—is part of this simulated reality. While popular in philosophy and theoretical physics, there is currently no scientific proof supporting this idea.
The Holographic Theory
The holographic principle suggests that a three-dimensional object can store all its information on a two-dimensional surface. In other words, the universe might function like a hologram, where the reality we experience emerges from encoded information on a cosmic boundary.
This theory profoundly impacts our understanding of space, time, and reality. Researchers in cosmology actively explore this concept, especially in relation to black holes, which showcase some of its most extreme manifestations.
The Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory stands as the most widely accepted explanation for the universe’s origin. Because the universe continues to expand, scientists conclude that it once existed as a single, extremely dense point.
According to this theory, the universe began as a singularity—a point of **infinite density and temperature—**approximately 13.8 billion years ago. This event triggered the Planck Epoch, the first 10^-43 seconds of time, when all matter and energy condensed into an incredibly small state.
The next post is on some key details of the Big Bang theory:

Dear Arun Singha, a wonderful post. i have always wondered about the collapse of the dust cloud that our solar system formed in. Depicted always like a flat record in spacetime. But the disk collapsed at 60 degrees and goes forwards at the plane of the Solar ecliptic. In a sense, one could look backwards from where we are going (around Sirius) to perhaps find residue of our creator, the event that caused the dust cloud to begin the journey of life. please forgive my enthusiasm. Peace love and greetings from oz.

Sir, I am always intrigued with mysteries of the universe we are embedded in. It’s mind-blowing to think about the interconnections between micro and macro universe. From the smallest subatomic particles to the vast expanse of galaxies, everything seems to be intricately connected in the grand tapestry of the universe. The more we explore, the more we realize how mysterious and awe-inspiring our cosmos truly is. It’s a humbling reminder of our place in the cosmos and how much there is left to discover. Your interest to bring cosmology into print will be beneficial to metaphysics enthusiast like me. Eagerly waiting for the other parts on this subject. Be safe and take care.
Sir, The above post is drafted from my laptop and wonder why it posted under anonymous instead! Anyways just wanted to clear the confusion.
Previously also I received like that. Initially I did not understand who Someone is. But from the style of comments, I understood it was you, Vishnupriya. Thank you so much for your comments.
Have a blissful time ahead.
Thank you so much Vishnupriya for high value inputs to it. From your comments, I get points for elaboration, for analysis and for deeper thoughts. Truely said that there is connection between micro and macro. It is mapping of point to point. In String theory, we will not see even micro. It is mere vibration only all around. Where is matter then? Matter is nowhere. So, what we see is Reality or not?
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement.
There is lot to do.
Need your support and best wishes. I get power from all of you in this window.
Best wishes.
Matter is neither created or destroyed but purely remains for worldly transactional purposes. Just as electricity though invisible makes all electrical gadgets functional. I would like to share that lord Krishna divides the whole universe into 3 components here :
Ksarah Purusah / Manifest matter – Visible universe , perceptable to our sense organs
Aksara Purusah / Unmanifest matter – Invisible intangible universe, Maya tatvam
Uttama Purusah / Consciousness principle – Independent entity
Of the above three, first two are acetana tatvam, inert principle and the third one is sentient principle, cetana tatvam.
Uttama Purusah lends existence to the ksarah and aksarah purusah drama that is creation, sustenance and destruction.
Matter manifests, matter goes to unmanifest form.
All these drama is sustained by the Screen called Uttama Purusah.
Hence, Krishna says the third component is the Supreme One.because it is Sarva Aadharam.
Having said this much, Krishna says that Uttama Purusah, the Consciousness alone is My real nature.
The real God is formless Consciousness, all pervading.
All the forms attributed to God in religious scriptures are temporarily
Uttama Purusah of the 15th Chapter is the Para prakrti of 7th chapter.
Bhagavad Gita Talks
Chapter 15
Thank you so much for sharing this highest knowledge from the Gita 15th chapter.
Once again I am recalling Knowledge imparted by Lord Krishna 🙏
Uttam Purusha is Nirguna Brahman. And Akshara Purusha is Iswara, as described in VEDANTA.
Now comes manifested Universe. That is ksara Purusha.
Am I right Vishnupriya?
I am very happy to see your analysis on the subject from The Gita.
Best wishes.
Take care 😊🙏
